KCRC Laboratory Department:
Mr. Eugene Rukundo, KCRC Laboratory Manager

The KCRC Laboratory department has a team of 10 well trained staff headed by a Laboratory Manager. The laboratory manager Mr. Eugene Rukundo is a Laboratory Technologist with a wide experience in laboratory aspects.
The team consists of Laboratory Technologiets, Laboratory Assistants/Specimen Processors, and Phlebotomy Technicians. The department is divided into four sections already described in the clinics. The divisions include:
- The KCRC Main Lab located in the Upper KCRC Clinic building.
- The KCRC Haematology Lab also located in the Upper KCRC Clinic building.
- The other Main lab is located in the Partners Clinic building. It is equipped with refrigerators for reagent & drug storage, freezer storage space, refrigerated centrifuge and includes a dedicated area for specimen acquisition, labeling & processing.
The KCRC Lab comprises of the following departments:
- Serology/Immuno Chemistry
- Microbiology-Chemical pathology
- Clinical Chemistry
- Heamatology
